PTA Frederick County Council Representatives

Current News from the PTA Council of Frederick County: 9/3/10:

The annual update of the Educational Facilities Master Plan (EFMP) is now available on the FCPS web page on the Reports and Publications page of the Facilities Services Department page. Printed copies of this document are be available from the FCPS offices and at the public hearing on September 15th.

This document contains a list of school construction projects that Staff has recommended for the next ten years, including the FY2012-2017 CIP requests.

A public hearing to receive comments on the Superintendent's Recommended Plan is scheduled for Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Central Office building located at 191 S. East Street in Frederick at 7:30 pm.

After receipt of public comment, the Board is scheduled to make final decisions regarding the Plan's recommendations. The final version of the CIP will then be forwarded to the County Commissioners and the State of Maryland for funding consideration.
