Twin Ridge Elementary School PTA - Mount Airy, Maryland

One thing I truly enjoy about the PTA is meeting new families, making new friends and working together to support student success. Please help me extend a warm welcome to Kimberly Seiss, our new principal. We are looking forward to working together to make TRES a better place for our students, parents, staff and community. The PTA officers and executive board have been working throughout the summer planning events and activities to help support your child's education.

The TRES PTA has many important roles. We support our children and school through our volunteer program, offering enrichment programs, special events, family activities, advocacy, communication and fundraising. There are many opportunities for you to get involved, so I encourage you to join the PTA and participate in the spirit of our school. There will be committee sign up sheets at Back to school night, so think about your talents/interests and sign up to help. We need you!

Communication is a vital part of the PTA. Please keep checking in at our website for announcements, important events, fliers etc. We will also send fliers home in the Thursday folders. PTA will send out a Fall, Winter and Spring newsletter.

We will have many of the PTA committees represented in the media center: Membership, Room parent/Class parties, Volunteers, Bake Sale, Sportswear, Fundraiser, Membership/Directory, 5th grade, Box Tops, and School toolboxes. Stop by the media center and don't forget to join the PTA! I am truly looking forward to a Great year!
